Year: 2012 | Medium: installation (open room, horizontal aperture, ambient light) | Dimensions: 38x18x10’ (LHW) | Location: Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento; Sacramento, California
I built an open, white room within the gallery of the Center for Contemporary Art in Sacramento, California. The wall parallel to the gallery’s street-side windows was bisected by a horizontal opening, translating the cars, pedestrians, and buildings outside into moving bands of light and color.
